The edition “In broad daylight" is made from a picture taken with a Contax G2 camera, an analogue classic used most famously by Jürgen Teller, which I bought to take some pictures of my new born baby Lucy and our family life in general. The flowers depicted I plucked on the way home from a trip to Upstate New York and are held in the Evian bottle with its top cut off that housed them in the car already. Arranged on the dining table in our Gramercy apartment. I like how the light of the early morning meets these wildflowers and brings the fresh air and promises of a new day. - Yves Scherer
